We have a few ways that you can support us and help us to help more people, whether by expanding our Helpline, distributing more information packs, being able to attend networking events to promote our services and keeping our website up and running
VOLUNTEER
We need people to help with things from events, Facebook moderation, events ( in due course ) and as drop-off/collection points for our Community shop – if you are in Peterborough and want to help, get in touch
OUR ONLINE COMMUNITY SHOP
We have set up a community shop, selling donated items from the public and local businesses, this can be found HERE – Items start at 30p!
The shop is on our website, and also on our Facebook pages/Groups
There are also some subgroups, particularly for MEN’s STUFF, WOMENS THINGS, TOYS and HOUSEHOLD, please subscribe to get some great deals. Things are mostly for sale in the Peterborough area with collection from PE2 5QS but local delivery is possible if you spend more than £5 – some larger items can be sent out by post.
We take payment for items by either cash on collection, PayPal or by Credit/Debit cards
SALE BOXES
We put boxes of items for sale, books, CDs, DVDs etc into local businesses and offices where the staff can pay into a collection box for the items they want.
DISCOUNTS AND VOUCHERS
Local businesses that support us can offer discount vouchers for anything from Haircuts to eating out, Car repairs to dog walking – and we offer these at a discount or as an auction to our followers, they get a bargain, the business gets a new customer and we get a donation – everyone wins!
MERCHANDISE
We will be producing items such as Mugs, Calendars, Badges etc and these will be available through our shop
LOTTERY / RAFFLE
We are hoping to run a small regular raffle/lottery once we get the permission from the relevant authorities, watch this space
SPONSORSHIP
Local businesses or individuals can become a sponsor and help with donations – get in touch if want to be involved.
